ANA RAFFALI : Santai My @ Travel Magazine

SANTAI @ Travel, 1st issue front page magazine cover. For the first time, we (me, Sahrulazhar and Khairul Azahar) were hired by the Santai My @ Travel magazine to produce an image of a local celebrity, Ana Raffali, for the front cover of the magazine’s Disember 2010 issue. The shooting was held at Putrajaya, as the magazine is basically about leisure. Ana Raffali is a new talent in Malaysia, so she was chosen to portray a fresh new look of the new magazine. Plus, she portrays a different image compared to other celebrities, as she only wears the malay traditional clothings such as Baju Kurung and Baju Kebaya when performing.

KGC Directional Signage

Dentsu Utama Sdn. Bhd. with Kinrara Golf Club (Driving Range)

BRIEF

Kinrara Golf Club is the only 18-hole golf course within the heart of Puchong. However, there has been a problem with the current signage. It’s too small. So much so there are drivers who miss the left exit to Kinrara Golf Club (KGC). The objective of this advertising is to divert traffic to Kinrara Golf Club with an extremely low budget.

IDEA

Using the lamp post as the golf club to point traffic towards the right direction.

EXECUTION

We constructed a life-size glove on hand to the lamp post, leaving the lamp post to look like a golf club.

IDEA

EXECUTION

A container of Chinese fortune sticks normally used by the Chinese as a fortune telling method is produced for the company’s corporate greeting. Only this time, the sticks carry messages which turns negative situations around when viewed in a positive light. This is also in line with the company’s credo - If atfirst the attitude is wrong, then there’s no chance of doing anything right.
